Barley straw has been a traditional treatment against blanketweed for hundreds of years. Our bestselling barley straw bale twin-packs come with a FREE additional bale.
Barley Straw is a 100% natural product which, when added to your pond, will help to produce crystal clear water.
Once the straw bales are wet, a natural process starts which combats algae growth. PondXpert Barley Straw is infused with natural lavender which helps produce significantly better results than standard barley straw. It also makes it smell better when sitting in the pond.

Directions for use
Simply add 1 straw bale to ponds up to 2250L
Replace every 8 weeks in the spring / summer / autumn period
For persistent algae issues, add 2 bales per 2250L
In stock orders placed before 2pm will be despatched on the same working day (not including palletised items, pond plants or fibreglass ponds).
Pre-orders are shipped once we have the stock available and will be shipped using the service chosen at checkout.
All services are working day services and do not include delivery on Saturdays and Sundays or public holidays as standard. Deliveries are usually Monday to Friday only, although some Royal Mail items may be delivered on weekends as standard if the service is available in your area.
