Albino Tiger Barb
Albino Tiger Barb's display a pink-orange-red flesh colour, and red-tipped fins, with white patches and stripes where the usual black streaks would be, hence the term albino. Also known as Semi-aggressive but very lively and playful, Albino Tiger Barbs are fish that prefer to be in schools.
They will thrive in a well-planted tank with soft, slightly acidic water, but do leave plenty of space for swimming. The Albino Tiger Barb is a very active fish, but be cautious that they may nip the fins of larger, slower moving fish.

Easy. Very hardy but prefer softer water, semi-aggressive, can fin-nip long-finned fish, good with other barbs. Shoaling fish.

Omnivore - The main food we recommend would be small granules, flake and pellets. Mixing in some live or frozen brine, or other fresh alternatives
can help enhance their health.
Compatibility
Semi-aggressive, house with other peaceful fish such as smaller barbs - no long-finned fish, like guppies. Will shoal in larger aquariums.
Breeding
Egg layers, occasional breeders in captivity. If trying to breed Green Tiger Barbs, house a number of Barbs in the same aquarium until they pair off. After a pair has developed, the female will lay the eggs and the male will follow behind to fertilize. The fry will be free-swimming after about a week.
Life Span
Albino tiger barbs have a lifespan of up to 5 or more years in perfect conditions.
