How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is £3.99 on orders totaling £49.99 or below, and FREE on orders above £50 (subject to exclusions outlined below).

Shipping Exclusions

Live Fish

Shipping fees for live fish are £20 per order regardless or value or quantity.
There is no minimum or maximum order value. Orders for dry goods will be billed and shipped separately to your livestock.

Fibreglass Ponds

Shipping fees on Fibreglass ponds are as follows:
UK Zone 1 - £79.99
UK Zone 2 - £149.99
UK Zone 3 - £249.99

Pond Plants

Shipping fees on pond plants are as follows:
£5.99 per order, regardless of quantity or value.

There is no minimum or maximum order value. Orders for dry goods will be billed and shipped separately to your plants.

Live fish, pond plants and fibre glass ponds are drop-shipped direct from our third-party suppliers. Lead times and additional terms can be found in each listing in the description.

 

How will you ship my item?

Dry goods valued at £49.99 or less will be shipped via a standard courier service for delivery typically within 1-2 working days.

Dry goods valued £50 or above will be shipped by a next day courier for delivery typically within 1 working day.

Palletised goods (aquariums etc.) are shipped via a kerbside pallet delivery service.

Fibreglass ponds are shipped by either a kerbside pallet delivery service or a flat bed van - you will be notified of shipping service during the booking-in process.

Pond plants are shipped directly from the grower for delivery usually within 3-10 days.

Live fish are shipped directly from the supplier to your chosen delivery schedule

All deliveries may be subject to additional terms and conditions outlines in each listing.

 

How long does dispatch take?

Orders for dry goods placed by 2pm will be shipped on the same day. Orders placed after 2pm will be shipped the following working day. Items are shipped and delivered Monday to Saturday only. Delivery timescales do not usually take weekends into account.

Palletised items and Fibreglass Ponds require booking confirmation with yourselves prior to dispatch.

 

What areas of the United Kingdom do you ship to?

We ship dry goods and plants to all regions of the UK. Certain areas may be subject to extended delivery times and additional fees. see 'extended areas' below. Fibreglass ponds are shipped according to the map.

 

Do you ship overseas?

We do not currently ship internationally.

 

Extended Areas - Dry Goods (non-palletised)

Certain areas of the UK are difficult to reach and are classified as 'extended areas' by mail and parcel shipping companies.

The extended area postcode locations as determined by Royal Mail that incur additional delay or fees are as follows:

AB, BT, DD, DG, FK17+, GY, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KE, KW, PA20-80, PH16-50, PO30, TD, TR21-25, ZE.

Orders to extended areas (£39.99 or less) sent by Royal Mail will not incur additional fees.

Parcels sent by DPD to the above areas may be subject to an additional fee of £15.

Palletised items (aquariums etc) may be subject to additional fees - please contact us for a quote if your location is not considered 'mainland UK'.

Fibreglass ponds are shipped subject to the zonal map.

Conditions for extended areas may be subject to change without notice.

 

Delivery Process

Orders will only be shipped to the delivery address specified upon checkout. Failure to do so may result in items being returned to us. Please do not ask us to amend delivery addresses after purchase.

All tracked orders may require a signature unless a safe place has been prior arranged. Please ensure you are available to accept delivery.

Signing ‘unchecked’ does not alter any delivery terms or provide additional consumer protection outside of standard rights.

Tracking information will be provided by email and is also available upon request.

 

Lost Items and Damages

Parcels will only be deemed lost if they fail to arrive within 30 days of despatch.

All orders are despatched in the condition specified in the listing in suitable packaging.

Please notify us of any damages or order shortages upon accepting delivery.

 

Availability

We will endeavour to inform of any fulfillment delays applicable to products by quoting stock availability in each listing description where applicable.

We will inform customers via email of any unforeseen fulfillment delay where possible.

 

Disclaimer

Orders are dispatched Monday to Saturday during our opening hours of 9am-5pm.

The cut off time for Monday to Friday is 2pm, the cut off time for Saturdays is 10am.

Deliveries are not typically attempted on weekends or public holidays.

Dry goods purchased on a Friday before the 2pm cut-off will generally be delivered on the next working day - Monday, although Saturday deliveries do take place subject to Royal Mail availability.

We will endeavour to deliver your order within the stated timescale but delivery times are not guaranteed.

We accept no liability for delays due to acts of God, extended third party carrier processing, industrial strikes, weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.
