Aquatic Oddities: Snail Food Signage

In this regular blog feature we present aquatic-themed oddities and curiosities discovered throughout the UK. It could be an old abandoned water garden, or an antique fish fairground ride, or strange graffiti. if you spot anything odd or curious that's pond or aquarium themed, drop us an email!

In this article, we picture a shop sign, that was formerly in use on our fish house premises. We had stored the fish house sign in a sealed storage container, which snails appear to have infiltrated and begun to munch on! Strangely enough, they only seem to have eaten the white lettering... maybe there is a particular ingredient in the sign colouring that snails don't like?
