Thalassoma lunare
Description
A green Thalassoma wrasse with magenta facial markings and a yellow crescent tail. Hardy, fast and increasingly bad-tempered as it matures.
Feeding
Carnivorous. Frozen mysis, chopped prawn, clam and marine pellets, two or three times daily.
Compatibility
Reef safe with corals but will eat ornamental shrimp, small crabs and snails. Becomes genuinely aggressive with age and will harass smaller tankmates.
Behaviour and personality
Extremely fast and constantly swimming. Adults develop a green body with magenta facial lines and a bright crescent tail.
Before you buy
Frequently sold as a cheap beginner wrasse and frequently regretted. It reaches 25 cm, becomes aggressive, and eats invertebrates. A sealed lid is essential as Thalassoma jump.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
