Ordering & Delivery

Do you offer next‑day delivery?

Yes. Orders placed before 2pm (Mon–Fri) are eligible for next‑day delivery. Larger or heavier items may require standard shipping.

How much is delivery?

Delivery starts from £3.99 - our full range of prices can be found via our Shipping Policy.

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, we only ship within the UK.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

You can return unused items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original packaging and in re-sellable condition.

How do I request a return?

Email info@realaquatics.co.uk with your order number and the item you wish to return. We’ll guide you through the process.

Do you accept returns on livestock or live plants?

We do not accept livestock returns - please refer to our Livestock DOA policy. Live plants can be returned only if they arrive damaged — please send photos within 24 hours of delivery.

Aquarium Products

Are your aquarium products safe for shrimp?

Yes. Most of our water treatments, botanicals (e.g., alder cones), and substrates are shrimp‑safe. If a product has restrictions, it will be clearly stated on the product page.

Do you sell RO water or remineralisers?

We stock a range of remineralisers suitable for shrimp, soft‑water fish, and planted tanks. We do not currently sell RO water.

How do I know which filter is right for my tank?

As a general rule:

• Nano tanks (0–40L): sponge filters or small internal filters

• Medium tanks (40–150L): internal or compact external filters

• Large tanks (150L+): external canister filters

If you’re unsure, message us — we’ll recommend the correct model.

Pond Products

Do you sell products for wildlife ponds?

Yes. We stock wildlife‑friendly plants, treatments, and accessories suitable for natural ponds with frogs, newts, and insects.

Are your pond treatments safe for fish and wildlife?

Most treatments are safe for fish, frogs, and beneficial insects. Any exceptions are clearly listed on the product page.

How do I choose the right pond pump or filter?

Match the pump to your pond’s volume. As a general guide:

• Small ponds: 1,000–2,000 LPH

• Medium ponds: 3,000–6,000 LPH

• Large ponds: 8,000+ LPH

If you need help sizing equipment, we can advise based on your pond dimensions.

Wildlife & Garden

Do you sell products for hedgehogs, birds, or garden wildlife?

Yes. We stock food, shelters, and accessories for hedgehogs, birds, and general garden wildlife. These can be found at our Pet website Real Pet Store.

Are your wildlife products safe for pets?

Yes. All wildlife foods and shelters are pet‑safe when used as directed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit/credit cards, PayPal, Klarna, Shop Pay and secure checkout options.

Is your website secure?

Yes. Real Aquatics uses SSL encryption, secure payment gateways, and industry‑standard protection for customer data.

Is realaquatics.co.uk your only official website?

Yes. Our only official website is realaquatics.co.uk. Any other domain claiming to be Real Aquatics is fraudulent.
