Origin:
Bred in Asia from wild Caridina species, selectively developed in captivity for deep blue coloration and premium traits.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — thrives on biofilm, algae, high-quality shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables, and occasional protein-rich foods.
Tank Mates:
Best kept in species-only or peaceful nano-community tanks with small, non-aggressive fish such as rasboras, otocinclus, and snails.
Aggression:
Completely peaceful — social and happiest in colonies.
Experience Level:
Recommended for intermediate to advanced shrimp keepers, as they require stable, soft, and clean water conditions.
