FeedingOmnivorous. Accepts flakes, pellets, frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia), and small live foods. A varied diet promotes brilliant coloration and overall health.
Tank MatesPeaceful. Best kept with other similarly sized, non-aggressive community fish. Avoid very small species that could be stressed or eaten.
AggressionLow. Social schooling fish that thrive in groups of 6 or more, exhibiting minimal aggression.
