Halichoeres tripilus
Description
An Indian Ocean wrasse in yellow-green with fine pink facial markings. Less commonly imported than the melanurus and similar in habit.
Feeding
Carnivorous. Frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp and marine pellets.
Compatibility
Reef safe with the usual Halichoeres caveat - will take ornamental shrimp and small snails. Peaceful toward fish.
Behaviour and personality
Active across the rockwork all day, burying in the sand to sleep.
Before you buy
Needs a deep fine sand bed to bury in and a sealed lid. Uncommon in the trade, so identification can vary between shipments.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
