Corythoichthys intestinalis
Description
A slender, snake-like pipefish patterned in fine brown bands, moving slowly across rock and sand. A seahorse relative and every bit as specialised.
Feeding
Feeds continuously on live copepods and amphipods taken from rock and sand with a tiny tube mouth. Most specimens never accept prepared food. A mature system with a productive refugium is essential.
Compatibility
Reef safe and entirely peaceful. Must not be housed with anything fast, aggressive or likely to outcompete it. Best in a species tank or a very calm reef.
Behaviour and personality
Moves slowly and deliberately across surfaces, probing crevices. Often kept as a pair.
Before you buy
The feeding requirement decides success. Without a large, established copepod population this fish starves within months. Not suitable for a new or busy tank.

Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.
