Chromis nitida
Description
A shoaling Australian chromis in silver-blue with a dark diagonal stripe and yellow flush along the back. Peaceful, and best kept as a group in open water.
Feeding
Planktivore. Frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp and quality marine pellets, fed twice daily.
Compatibility
Reef safe and peaceful. Keep in a group of six or more; kept in small numbers they pick each other off until one remains.
Behaviour and personality
Shoals in open water above the rockwork, facing into the flow and feeding from the water column.
Before you buy
The common failure is buying three. Chromis reduce their own numbers in small groups until a single fish is left. Buy six or more at once, and give them open swimming space.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum or maximum order value.
