Ctenochaetus binotatus
Description
A brown bristletooth tang with fine blue speckling and bright blue eye rings. Understated, peaceful and one of the most useful algae grazers available.
Feeding
Primarily herbivorous. Dried marine algae daily, spirulina foods and some frozen meaty food.
Compatibility
Reef safe and among the more peaceful tangs. Territorial with other bristletooths but generally fine with other genera.
Behaviour and personality
Grazes detritus and film algae from rock with comb-like teeth, rather than rasping filamentous algae. Constantly working surfaces.
Before you buy
Quarantine before introduction, as tangs are prone to marine ich. Daily access to algae is essential for colour and long-term health.

DX courier delivery is £29.95 per livestock order.
Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.
