Blue Eye Nano Goby (Tryssogobius colini)
Overview:
The Blue Eye Nano Goby is a small, peaceful, and visually striking marine goby, easily recognized by its bright blue eyes and delicate body. Ideal for nano and small reef tanks, it brings subtle color and activity to the lower regions of the aquarium.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific, typically found on sandy and rubble substrates near coral reefs.
Feeding:
Carnivorous. Feeds on microfauna, small crustaceans, and planktonic foods. In captivity, will accept live or frozen copepods, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped meaty foods.
Tank Mates:
Peaceful and reef-safe. Best housed with small, non-aggressive fish. Avoid larger, aggressive tank mates that may outcompete or stress it.
Aggression:
Non-aggressive and shy; often retreats into crevices or sand when disturbed.
Experience Level:
Beginner to intermediate. Requires a mature tank with fine substrate for hiding and stable water parameters.

- pH: 8.1–8.4
- Salinity: 1.023–1.025
- dKH: 8–12
