Blue Shrimp
These popular, Blue Shrimp are great for people wanting to start out keeping and breeding shrimp. They are a light blue with what looks like a pearl inside of them so look great in a planted aquarium. They love to live in grass or moss so we recommend having a planted tropical aquarium.

Ease of care
Easy. Live plants and hiding places are needed. Do not use any treatment that contains Copper. Please always read the label of the aquarium treatment. Also, Shrimp minerals should be added to the water to improve health, at every water change.
Diet
Mainly algae & vegetation. Shrimp pellets are good for them however they shouldn't have too much protein as it can cause health issues in the Shrimp.
Compatibility
Species only is best for breeding however can go with small fish such as Tetras or Rasbora. They thrive in a planted aquarium with hiding places.
Breeding/ Sex
Easy, no extra work is necessary. Females are brighter and slightly larger than the males.
Life Span
They can live to anything from 1-2 years in perfect conditions.Please be aware that the image is for illustration purposes only. - In stock orders placed before on working weekdays before 2pm will be despatched on the same working weekday.
- In stock orders placed on a Saturday before 10am will be despatched on that Saturday.

Further delivery information
All delivery services are working day services and do not include delivery on Saturdays and Sundays or public holidays as standard.
Deliveries are usually Monday to Friday only, although some Royal Mail items may be delivered on weekends as standard if the service is available in your area.
Orders over £50 delivering to non UK mainland locations may be despatched via a Royal Mail (2-3 days) service rather than an express shipping option.
