Description
A small hillstream loach from Borneo with a flattened body and a blue-flushed tail, built to graze rock surfaces in fast water. Peaceful and industrious.
Feeding
Grazes biofilm and algae from smooth surfaces. Supplement with algae wafers and blanched vegetables.
Compatibility
Peaceful, though males squabble over grazing territory. Keep in a group with plenty of smooth rock. Suits cool, high-flow setups rather than standard community tanks.
Behaviour and personality
Clings to glass and rock in the strongest current available, working surfaces constantly.
Before you buy
Needs high flow, high oxygen and cooler water. Will starve in a newly set up tank with no established biofilm, so add to a mature aquarium.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.
