Bodianus sepiacaudus
Description
A small deepwater hogfish striped in white and candy pink with a dark tail spot. Peaceful, uncommon and considerably better behaved than its larger relatives.
Feeding
Carnivorous. Frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, chopped prawn and marine pellets, twice daily.
Compatibility
Reef safe with corals but will take ornamental shrimp and small snails. Peaceful toward fish, unusually so for a hogfish.
Behaviour and personality
Active among rockwork, picking constantly. Stays much smaller than most Bodianus species.
Before you buy
One of the few hogfish small and peaceful enough for a mid-sized reef. Collected from deeper water, so subdued lighting suits it. A sealed lid is advisable.

Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.
