Nemanthias carberryi
Description
A brilliant marine anthias in violet and yellow, hovering in the water column in constant motion. One of the more peaceful anthias and a superb display fish in a group.
Feeding
A planktivore with a fast metabolism. Needs small meaty foods - frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp and finely graded pellets - three or more times a day. Once-daily feeding is not enough.
Compatibility
Reef safe and peaceful. Keep in a group of five or more with one male, as they are harem spawners. Best with calm tankmates that will not outcompete them at feeding.
Behaviour and personality
Hovers in open water in the current, constantly picking at the water column. The group stays together and the male displays to the females.
Before you buy
The feeding requirement is the whole issue. Anthias that are fed once a day waste away over a few months. If you cannot feed several times daily, or run an automatic feeder, choose a different fish.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum or maximum order value.
