Description
An Australian leopard wrasse patterned in orange spots over a pale body. Beautiful, delicate, and among the harder wrasses to establish.
Feeding
Feeds on tiny invertebrates picked from rock and sand. Needs frozen mysis and enriched brine shrimp several times daily, plus a mature system with a live pod population.
Compatibility
Reef safe with corals but hunts small invertebrates. Peaceful and easily outcompeted at feeding time.
Behaviour and personality
Picks constantly at rock and sand all day. Buries in the sand bed to sleep and when startled.
Before you buy
Leopard wrasses frequently arrive underweight and starve in tanks without an established pod population. It needs a mature system, a deep fine sand bed and several feeds daily. Not a fish for a new tank.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
