Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and northern Australia.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — feeds on meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped seafood, and marine algae. Regular feeding ensures proper nutrition and overall health.
Tank Mates:
Suitable for peaceful to moderately aggressive community tanks, though care should be taken to avoid very small or delicate fish.
Aggression:
Generally peaceful, relying on its tough, boxy body for protection.
Experience Level:
Recommended for intermediate to advanced aquarists, due to its dietary needs, sensitivity to water quality, and specialized care requirements.
