Description
Goldfish
The common Goldfish is the most popular and commonly kept fish in the world. When small, the goldfish is great for keeping in an indoor aquarium. Long term, common goldfish have the potential to grow quite large and are ideal for outdoor garden ponds. Common goldfish are friendly and very active, and thrive in coldwater community aquaria.
This listing is for a random mixture of common goldfish of mixed gender. Hybrid colours may include solid and patterned varieties of orange, red, white and brown/bronze goldfish with occasional black, yellow and white patterning. Combinations are supplied completely at random, photo is for illustration only. Ideal mix for new pond setups.
How big do Common Goldfish get?
Common goldfish can grow to exceed 12 inches or 30cm as adults. You will need adequate space in your aquarium or pond to accomodate this growth. One fish per 25 litres is a good stocking guideline.
Can you keep Common Goldfish with Koi?
Yes, you can quite happily keep goldfish with Koi, as well as other coldwater species such as orfe and sturgeon. You can also keep with fancy goldfish indoors, although they may out-compete slower swimming species for food.
