Halichoeres marginatus
Description
A robust Halichoeres wrasse, green-bronze as an adult with fine pink facial lines. The juvenile looks like a completely different fish.
Feeding
Carnivorous. Frozen mysis, chopped prawn and marine pellets.
Compatibility
Reef safe with corals but will hunt ornamental shrimp, snails and small crabs. Assertive toward smaller wrasses as it matures.
Behaviour and personality
Active and constantly hunting. Juvenile and adult colour forms differ dramatically, the juvenile being dark with bright ocelli.
Before you buy
Grows larger and becomes more assertive than most Halichoeres. Needs a deep sand bed and a sealed lid.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
