Aioliops megastigma
Description
A tiny, near-transparent dartfish that hovers in small groups above the rockwork. Delicate, unusual and rarely offered.
Feeding
Planktivore needing very small foods. Live copepods, enriched baby brine shrimp and frozen cyclops, several times daily.
Compatibility
Entirely peaceful and utterly defenceless. Species tank or nano reef only, with nothing that could eat or outcompete it.
Behaviour and personality
Hovers in the current in a loose group, darting into cover when startled.
Before you buy
Extremely small and easily outcompeted or eaten. Needs an established pod population, frequent small feeds and a sealed lid.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum or maximum order value.
