Description
A small yellow-white butterflyfish crossed with eight clean dark bands. Neat and appealing, and a strict coral feeder.
Feeding
An obligate coral polyp feeder. Very few specimens accept prepared food, and most starve within weeks or months.
Compatibility
Peaceful toward fish. Not reef safe - it eats coral polyps.
Behaviour and personality
Stays close to branching coral, picking constantly. Often seen in pairs or small groups.
Before you buy
Another obligate corallivore. It will strip a reef tank and will usually starve in a fish-only one. Not a species that can be recommended.
