Origin:
Native to the shallow coral reefs and tide pools of Northern and Eastern Australia, often found in reef flats and sandy lagoon areas.
Feeding:
Carnivorous – thrives on small crustaceans, shrimp, worms, and fish. Feeding multiple times a week ensures good health.
Tank Mates:
Best kept with other non-aggressive fish of similar size. Avoid small invertebrates or very small fish, which may be eaten.
Aggression:
Non-aggressive – generally peaceful toward tank mates but will hunt small prey.
Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced – requires a well-established marine tank with plenty of sandy substrate and hiding spots.
