Evolution Aqua Pure Pond Balls 2000ml
Pure Pond is an award-winning bacteria treatment that helps keep pond water clear and healthy. The 2000ml tub treats ponds up to 40,000 litres (approx. 8,800 UK gallons).
Each biodegradable gel ball is packed with live bacteria and natural enzymes, with over 8 billion bacteria per litre. Placed in your pond filter, they get to work breaking down ammonia and nitrite and clearing up organic waste such as fish waste, uneaten food and decaying plant matter.
The bacteria and enzymes are released slowly over time, so they keep working between doses. This helps smooth out peaks in ammonia and nitrite and tackles the biological problems that are often behind cloudy, poor-quality water.

How to use
Add Pure Pond once a month to the biological chamber of your pond filter, ideally held in a filter bag. In moving bed filters such as the Evolution Aqua Nexus, the balls tumble alongside the K1 media for even better results.
Please note
Pure Pond is not designed to clear green water, which is caused by free-floating algae. For green water, we recommend a suitable UV clarifier (UVC) alongside Pure Pond.
For best results add the PURE POND balls into a filter bag and place in the biological section of your filter in an area of water flow.
You cannot overdose the pond with PURE POND, however for ponds under 10,000 litres, we recommend using a proportionate quantity of balls for the size of your pond, ie 250ml for a 5,000 litre pond.
PURE POND will work at its most efficient in pond temperatures above 12°C
Product Advice:
PURE POND is a natural product therefore it is perfectly normal that the balls may vary in size, colour and opacity. None of this will affect the performance of the product.
PURE POND can be used in conjunction with a UV-C.
PURE POND is not intended to clear green water. It is recommended that an appropriate UV-C should be used to eradicate green water.
Wash hands after use. Keep in a safe place out of the reach of children. If swallowed drink plenty of water.
Once opened, keep stored in a dry environment. Do not use after the expiry date.
Shipping Cut Off Times
- In stock orders placed on working weekdays before 2pm will be despatched on the same working weekday.
- In stock orders placed on a Saturday before 10am will be despatched on that Saturday.
- Orders that include pre-order items will be shipped together in total once the pre-order items arrive back in stock using the delivery service chosen at checkout.
None of these cut-offs apply to palletised items, frozen fish food, pond plants or fibreglass ponds.

Further delivery information
All delivery services are working day services and do not include delivery on Saturdays and Sundays or public holidays as standard.
Deliveries are usually Monday to Friday only, although some Royal Mail items may be delivered on weekends as standard if the service is available in your area.
Orders over £50 delivering to non UK mainland locations may be despatched via a Royal Mail (2-3 days) service rather than an express shipping option.
