Siganus vulpinus
Description
A bright yellow rabbitfish with a black-and-white striped face. Hardy, an effective algae grazer, and armed with venomous dorsal spines.
Feeding
Herbivorous. Dried marine algae daily, spirulina foods and blanched vegetables. Grazes nuisance algae effectively.
Compatibility
Peaceful toward fish and generally reef safe, though individuals may sample soft corals and zoanthids when underfed. One per tank unless a bonded pair.
Behaviour and personality
Grazes constantly. Displays a mottled brown stress pattern when alarmed or asleep, returning to bright yellow within moments.
Before you buy
The dorsal spines are venomous and the sting is painful - handle carefully during maintenance and never net by hand. Keep it well fed with algae and it will generally leave corals alone.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
