Developed in Japan, this variety is selectively bred for its soft, ghostly white coloration and butterfly fins, creating a koi that exudes elegance and calm beauty.
Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality koi pellets as a staple diet, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.
Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.
Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for community ponds.
Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, though adequate pond space and proper filtration are essential.
