Anampses lineatus
Description
A dark-bodied wrasse patterned with fine white lines and a bright tail. Beautiful, and among the more demanding wrasses to establish.
Feeding
Carnivorous, feeding on tiny invertebrates picked from rock and sand. Needs frozen mysis and enriched brine shrimp several times daily, plus a mature tank with a live pod population.
Compatibility
Reef safe with corals but will hunt small invertebrates. Peaceful toward fish, and easily outcompeted at feeding time.
Behaviour and personality
Picks constantly at rock and sand all day. Buries in the sand bed to sleep and when frightened.
Before you buy
Tamarin wrasses ship poorly and often arrive thin. They need a mature system with abundant live food, a deep fine sand bed, and several feeds a day during the first months. Not a fish for a new tank.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum or maximum order value.
