Thalassoma lutescens
Description
A bright yellow Thalassoma wrasse, the terminal males developing an intense green head and magenta facial markings. Restless and demanding of space.
Feeding
Carnivorous. Frozen mysis, chopped prawn, clam and marine pellets, two or three times daily.
Compatibility
Reef safe with corals but will eat ornamental shrimp and small invertebrates. Boisterous and assertive.
Behaviour and personality
Constantly swimming and highly active. Terminal males develop a green head over a yellow body.
Before you buy
Grows to 20-25 cm and swims constantly, so it needs a large open tank. A determined jumper - the tank must be sealed.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
