Paracheilinus mccoskeri
Description
A small wrasse striped in orange, red and blue, the males flashing intense colour and flaring their fins in rapid display. Peaceful, active and superb in a reef.
Feeding
Small meaty foods. Frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp and fine marine pellets, twice daily.
Compatibility
Reef safe and peaceful. Best as one male with several females. Can be intimidated by aggressive tankmates such as the six line wrasse.
Behaviour and personality
Constantly active in open water. Males flash extraordinary colour during display, most often in late afternoon.
Before you buy
A jumper - a sealed lid is essential. Unlike many wrasses it does not need a deep sand bed to sleep in, but it does need calm tankmates to display properly.
DX courier delivery is £29.95 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum or maximum order value.
