Overview:
The Metallic White Butterfly Koi is a dazzling ornamental koi with a shimmering, pure white body and long, flowing fins. Its reflective, metallic sheen and graceful swimming make it a striking centerpiece in any pond.
Origin:
Developed in Japan, this metallic variant of traditional koi lines has been selectively bred for its lustrous white coloration and butterfly fins, combining elegance with classic koi beauty.
Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.
Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.
Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for community ponds.
Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, but requires sufficient pond space and proper filtration for optimal health.
