Description
A dwarf angel banded in black and white with a yellow belly, collected from deep reef slopes. Beautiful, secretive and demanding.
Feeding
A sponge feeder in the wild. Requires sponge-based angelfish preparations, mysis and enriched brine shrimp, several times daily. Slow to accept prepared food.
Compatibility
Not reliably reef safe - will pick at soft corals and clams. Very shy and easily outcompeted.
Behaviour and personality
Retiring and cave-dwelling, often found upside down beneath overhangs. Rarely on open display.
Before you buy
Collected from deep water, so subdued lighting and heavy rockwork help it settle. Frequently lost because it never feeds in the open. Needs a mature tank and calm tankmates.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- If any stock issues affect your chosen delivery date, we will contact you as soon as possible by email or telephone.
- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
