Cirripectes stigmaticus
Description
A dark blenny streaked with fine red markings and carrying the characteristic eyelash cirri. An effective algae grazer with plenty of character.
Feeding
Primarily herbivorous. Grazes filamentous algae, supplemented with dried algae sheets and spirulina-based foods.
Compatibility
Reef safe and peaceful toward other species, territorial with other blennies. One per tank.
Behaviour and personality
Perches on rockwork and grazes in short bursts. The fringe of cirri above the eyes gives the group its name.
Before you buy
Needs an established tank with algae growth. Once the tank is clean it must be fed deliberately or it will slowly decline.
DX courier delivery is £20 per livestock order.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum or maximum order value.
