Sewellia lineolata
Description
A flattened, gecko-like loach patterned in fine gold reticulation, built to cling to rock in fast water. Utterly unlike anything else in the hobby.
Feeding
Grazes biofilm and algae from smooth surfaces. Supplement with algae wafers, blanched vegetables and frozen foods. A mature tank with established algae growth matters.
Compatibility
Peaceful. Keep in groups of four or more. Best with other cool, high-flow species; unsuitable for a standard warm, still community tank.
Behaviour and personality
Clings to glass, rock and wood in the strongest flow available, grazing constantly. Males display to one another over prime feeding spots.
Before you buy
Needs high flow and high oxygen - a powerhead or strong filter return is essential, not optional. Prefers cooler water. Will starve in a brand new tank with no biofilm.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
