Description
A soft pink-bodied tetra with a black-marked dorsal fin and delicate trailing fin extensions on the males. Gentle, long-established and easy to keep.
Feeding
Flake, micro-pellets and small frozen foods.
Compatibility
Peaceful community fish. Keep in groups of eight or more with a mix of sexes so the males display.
Behaviour and personality
Calm mid-water shoaler. Males spread their extended fins at one another in harmless display.
Before you buy
Colour deepens over dark substrate and under subdued lighting. Sold under several trade names, so check the scientific name if matching an existing group.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
