Omnivorous – accepts flakes, pellets, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood.

Best suited with semi-aggressive or similarly hardy species. Reef-safe, but may show territorial behavior toward smaller or timid fish.
Aggression:
Semi-aggressive – can be territorial, though slightly less aggressive than some other damselfish.
