Overview:
The Shusui Butterfly Grade A Koi is a beautiful ornamental koi featuring a scaleless (Doitsu) body with a striking blue-gray back, red or orange accents along the sides, and a distinct row of lateral scales. Its long, flowing butterfly fins and graceful swimming make it an elegant addition to any premium pond.

Origin:
Originating from Japan, the Shusui variety is a Doitsu version of the Asagi line, prized for its crisp patterning and metallic sheen. This Grade A butterfly specimen has been selectively bred for superior color balance, pattern clarity, and refined finnage.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.

Experience Level:
