The Sky Blue Damsel is a brilliantly colored reef fish with a striking electric blue body that adds vibrant contrast to marine aquariums. Compact, active, and durable, it’s a hardy species well-suited for both reef and fish-only systems.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific, particularly coral-rich reefs and lagoons.
Feeding:
Omnivorous – thrives on a varied diet of marine flakes, pellets, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood.
Tank Mates:
Can be kept with semi-aggressive or similarly hardy species. Compatible with reef setups, though caution is advised when housing with very timid fish due to its territorial nature.
Aggression:
Semi-aggressive – typical of damselfish, especially in smaller aquariums or when defending territory.
Experience Level:
Beginner-friendly thanks to its resilience, but best for aquarists who understand community balance.
