Danio nigrofasciatus
Description
A smaller, gentler relative of the zebra danio, patterned with rows of dark spots over a gold-tinted body. Less frantic than its better-known cousin and better suited to a mixed community.
Feeding
Flake, micro-pellets and small frozen foods. Feeds mainly at the surface.
Compatibility
Peaceful and sociable. Keep in groups of eight or more. Suits small community tanks where a zebra danio would be too boisterous.
Behaviour and personality
Active upper-level swimmer, though noticeably calmer than the zebra danio.
Before you buy
Hardy and adaptable, but a well-fitted lid is advisable as danios will jump.

Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
