Paracentropyge venusta
Description
A dwarf angel in electric blue and brilliant yellow, collected from deeper reef slopes. One of the most beautiful Centropyge relatives and one of the harder ones to establish.
Feeding
A sponge and tunicate feeder in the wild. Requires sponge-based angelfish preparations, mysis and enriched brine shrimp several times daily. Many specimens are slow to accept prepared food.
Compatibility
Not reliably reef safe - will pick at soft corals, clams and zoanthids. Shy and easily outcompeted by boisterous tankmates.
Behaviour and personality
Retiring and cave-dwelling, spending much of its time among rockwork and often upside down beneath overhangs.
Before you buy
Collected from deep water, so it prefers subdued lighting and plenty of caves. The feeding requirement is the deciding factor - it needs a mature tank with live rock and several small feeds daily.

Free delivery when your livestock subtotal is over £350.
Delivery is scheduled for your selected delivery date and typically arrives before 1pm.
There is no minimum order value.

- Shipping for dry goods is charged separately from livestock delivery and does not count towards the £350 free delivery threshold. Dry goods are dispatched according to our standard delivery policy.
