Developed in Japan, the Yamabuki variety is a metallic version of traditional koi lines, enhanced with butterfly fins for graceful movement and enhanced visual appeal.
Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality koi pellets as the main diet, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.
Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish like goldfish.
Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, making it ideal for community ponds.
