The Yamabuki Butterfly Grade A Koi is a stunning ornamental koi renowned for its rich, golden-yellow coloration and elegant, flowing fins. Its brilliant metallic sheen and balanced body shape make it a standout feature in any high-quality pond display.
Origin:
Developed in Japan, the Yamabuki variety is prized for its intense golden coloration. This Grade A butterfly specimen has been selectively bred for superior color depth, clarity, and refined finnage, resulting in exceptional visual appeal.
Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed premium-quality koi pellets designed to enhance color, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.
Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.
Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.
Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, though optimal filtration, water quality, and space are essential to maintain Grade A quality.
